Yes, the "right" today is just a focal point for a hundred sometimes contradictory ideologies. People keep using the term "conservative" but IMO, it's anything but. It's radical, demanding essentially an authoritarian revolution. Their only real motto is "I hate that thing I saw on the Internet."
