I miss video stores. As a practical matter, the variety of movies available through streaming is much smaller. Maybe they are all out there somewhere, but damn if I can every find anything out of the way. At any one time, there are only a few hundred titles easily available. The video stores had thousands, and at least in cities, were often owned by very knowledgeable people who stocked the shelves with all kinds of interesting stuff.
