I came of age at the height of the second feminist revolution in the late sixties and early seventies. It was a great thing, and in many ways, it did as much for men as for women. But I have to laugh at the whole idea of the patriarchy, that men are somehow excluding women from power. Seriously? How? Women have been the voting majority since 1920. That's 105 years. Women average smarter and better educated than men. Far fewer have felony convictions. The "women's vote" could win virtually every election in the US (except in Alaska) if there were any such a thing. But there isn't. Women in a particular location and social class, vote pretty much indistinguishably from their male counterparts. But the left is so single-mindedly fixated on gender and racial identity that they are functionally blind. We need to understand that there is no women's vote, no Black vote, no Hispanic vote and no white vote. People vote their class, and the blue-state college kids have made it clear to the rest of America that the Democratic Party is theirs. Keep on deriding masculinity, the working class and LMC America. MAGA could be in charger for a generation or two!
