Ha, ha, ha. Nobody in their right mind would trade the social structures of the 50's for the freedom of today. I was there--if a woman yearning for that could go back in time the women would laugh in her face. My mother just died at 92, so she came up during ww2. She wouldn't laugh at them--she's swing her cane like a baseball bat.
